Using Session

Session is a productivity reminder for creating a deliberate return point around work you choose. You may set a time manually or, where available, ask Session to interpret a supported coding-agent usage screen. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming the provider, timing, time zone, and reminder details before relying on them.

Reminder and scan limitations

Session is not an emergency alarm, safety service, timekeeping authority, provider API, or generic Pomodoro timer. Notifications can be delayed, suppressed, or unavailable because of device settings or operating-system behavior. A Usage Screen Scan can be wrong, ambiguous, stale, or unsupported. Session may require a new scan, confirmation, manual timing, or manual completion instead of treating a result as Accepted Verification.

Manual completion records that you closed the reminder. It does not prove that provider capacity is available and does not become Accepted Verification.

Purchases and access

The launch release uses a hard-paywall posture. Subscription products, prices, trials, renewal terms, and eligibility are shown by Apple at purchase time. Apple processes payment, billing changes, cancellations, and refund requests. Session uses RevenueCat to verify whether the Session Pro entitlement is currently active.

A purchase or restore attempt does not grant access by itself. Pending, cancelled, failed, stale, unavailable, or inactive entitlement results keep access locked until current entitlement verification succeeds. Web checkout, redemption, and claim flows are not part of this launch release.

Reminder Only and conditional Focus Lock

Reminder Only calls you back without shielding apps. Focus Lock is not promised by this launch package. If a later release separately qualifies it, it will require compatible device capability, your Family Controls authorization, an active entitlement, valid configuration, and a conservative feature decision.

Any Focus Lock behavior is limited to a Session-owned Screen Time shield over user-selected apps, websites, or categories. Session does not control the iPhone lock screen, guarantee literal full-device lock, or remove restrictions applied by Apple, another app, an organization, or system policy.

Recovery and availability

Recovery Unlock is a safety path for a Session-owned shield. It can be offered when the camera or required capability is unavailable, a scan repeatedly fails, or Session cannot complete the normal verification path. Recovery is recorded separately from Accepted Verification. Session will not claim that a shield cleared when it cannot confirm its own state.

Services may be interrupted, changed, or withdrawn. Do not use Session where missing a notification, scan, purchase check, or shield change could cause personal injury, financial loss, legal harm, or another high-risk outcome.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Session, attempt to access another person’s account or purchase, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected service components except where law permits, or submit credentials, raw scan content, prompts, or source code through public support channels.

Privacy and support

The Privacy Policy explains Session’s random identity, always-on RevenueCat purchase processing, on-device scan handling, default-on PostHog product analytics with a persistent opt-out, IDFA-free AppsFlyer attribution, no ATT or IDFA, and why Session Replay remains removed from scope. United States launch scope

These terms are prepared for the United States en-US launch package. They do not describe international pages, Web2App purchases, associated-domain claims, referrals, Promotional Access, growth popups or banners, or other unavailable systems as if those systems exist.
